Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in East Texas,(but not for long.)  The collections and events at The Gaston Museum are second to none. You are cordially invited to take a virtual tour through our Museum, tent house, gas station and outdoor exhibits where you will literally go back in time. We have recreated a special time when people  worked hard, lived in humble surroundings, experienced the overnight explosion of the largest oil strike in East Texas and the largest Rural School in the world at that time.  Our virtual videos and stories allow you to fully experience and understand just what it was like back then.
